In many schools a child is said to “know” their tables if they can count in a particular number. This means that if they are asked the answer to 7 x 8 they smile, say “Oh yes! I know my 8 times tables” and start counting in eights; 8 … 16 … 24 ... etc until they reach 56. This game presents a new and fun approach to learning tables and can be played by the child alone. It teaches both the question and the answer so that if the child is asked the same question they will immediately say 7 x 8 equals 56.

Tables learning is the key to confidence and greater speed in mathematics.
